On March 16, Bodhi Meditation Center in Los Angeles hosted the joyful and heartwarming “Bodhisattva Loves Me” Fair to celebrate Guanyin Bodhisattva’s birthday. The event attracted many Bodhi practitioners and community members with their families, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
The event venue was beautifully decorated with colorful streamers and red lanterns, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere. From the moment attendees stepped into the fair, they were embraced by warmth and blessings.
This year’s fair combined spiritual practice with interactive activities, offering a fulfilling experience for the body, mind, and soul. Inside the meditation hall, a special “Circumambulation and Chanting” blessing activity was held. Participants chanted in unison as they walked mindfully, with each step symbolizing the accumulation of merit and wisdom, praying for peace and blessings for themselves and their families in a solemn and respectful ambiance.
In another area, participants devotedly hand-copied scriptures, focusing on each stroke with care and mindfulness. As their hearts grew tranquil, they offered their blessings and good wishes to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, dedicating the merits to their loved ones.
The Energy Blessing activity was also a highlight of the event, drawing a large crowd. Teachers offered blessings to attendees, who lined up to receive the compassion and protection of the Bodhisattvas. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of peace and heartfelt gratitude.
In addition to the spiritual activities, the fair featured a variety of vegetarian food stalls, offering a colorful and flavorful selection of delicious, healthy dishes for everyone to enjoy alongside the joy of the event. The lively game zone, filled with fun prize-winning activities, also drew crowds of all ages, filling the air with laughter and excitement.
On the blessing altar, offerings of light, fresh flowers, and fruits were neatly arranged, symbolizing wisdom and brightness. Devotees stood before the Buddha with palms joined in sincere prayer, making heartfelt wishes. The scene was warm and deeply moving.
This “Bodhisattvas Love Me” fair beautifully blended blessings, spiritual practice, vegetarian cuisine, and joyful activities, allowing participants to connect with the Dharma in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
