First of all, I’m deeply grateful for Master’s meditation practice! Everyone at the meditation center has been so kind to me, like family. This is my first time attending a class here, and I feel excited and happy.
I was diagnosed with depression in 2023. Later, I searched for ‘meditation’ on Google, and the first thing that came up on my computer was ‘Bodhi Meditation.’ I’m a single mother with a busy work schedule, but I finally decided to take some time for myself to recharge and attend the class.
On the very first day, I felt a strong energy and was filled with excitement. That night, I also slept better than I had in a long time. Before the class, I could only sleep about 5 hours a night.
After starting the class, I’ve been able to sleep up to 7 hours and sleep more peacefully. My stomach, which used to feel uncomfortable often, is now free of those symptoms. Also, what I’ve learned at the meditation center has been very helpful for my work and personal life. I used to feel unhappy and depressed easily, but after taking this class, I’m able to let go more easily and don’t put so much pressure on myself. When I face negative emotions, I approach them with a positive mindset, which makes me feel really good. I’m truly grateful!

I attended the Stress Relief course, and after just seven days, my life was completely transformed. Before coming to the meditation center, I seldom smiled and always had a serious expression. I was under a lot of pressure, which made me extremely anxious. But after completing this course, my stress and anxiety disappeared, and I now feel happier and more fulfilled. My face is now full of smiles.
What makes this place different from others? The teachers and staff are all very friendly. When I walked through the door, I felt like I was with family, even though I had never met or spoken to any of them before. When I’m at the meditation center, it truly feels like home. Through this Stress Relief class, I feel my mood improving, becoming more open and positive, as if all my worries have disappeared and problems can easily be left behind.
I first heard about Bodhi Meditation 13 years ago! Back then, I attended a few times and even took refuge with the Master. However, my Chinese was poor, so I couldn’t understand what the teachers and senior students were saying. A senior sister helped me fill out the forms for taking refuge. Since the meditation center was far from where I lived and I didn’t have much time, I stopped attending.
In 2023, my health took a turn for the worse. During a check-up, they found cancer cells in my body, and it was serious—there were signs that it might have spread.
When I saw that report, it was as if my soul left my body. I felt completely crushed, to the point where I didn’t even have the strength to walk. For a period of time, I wouldn’t leave the house. Every day, I just stayed home, feeling like an empty shell with no soul left.
Two weeks after I got the bad news, around early November, something amazing happened one night before bed. Out of nowhere, an image of Grandmaster JinBodhi flashed before my eyes.
Suddenly, I felt the urge to cry. This image touched something deep in my heart; it felt like I had seen it before. I couldn’t sleep, so I turned on the light and kept thinking, ‘Where have I seen this image before?’ The next day, I kept asking around, even asking my friends. Finally, I found out—it was Bodhi Meditation!
I called the meditation center, and a teacher suggested I join a class. When I arrived, I started practicing Bagua walking meditation. After my surgery, I had trouble moving one side of my body in the mornings, as if I had a stroke, and I would be in pain for about half an hour, making it hard to sleep at night. After my first day of Bagua, I slept well that night. The next morning, the pain had reduced a lot. After more Bagua sessions, I was able to sleep nearly 5 hours. While there was still pain, it decreased from 30 minutes to 20 minutes. As I continued practicing, the pain dropped to about 10 minutes, and the intensity of the pain reduced significantly. After a few more days, the pain completely disappeared.
Then, I joined the Health and Wellness Meditation Class. On the first day, honestly, I had to push myself to attend. The first practice of The Meditation of Greater Illumination was exhausting for me—it felt like a huge challenge. I kept checking the time and had thoughts of quitting because I felt sore all over. But I persisted. By the third day, my face looked brighter, and my friends were shocked. They asked, “How are you so full of energy today?”
To be honest, I can’t believe the transformation between who I was seven months ago and who I am now.
Truly, my whole life has changed. I’m happier and more joyful than I was even before I got sick! Every day, I feel a natural sense of joy. In the past, if someone said something unpleasant, I would get angry. But now, no matter what I hear, I don’t take it to heart.
Sometimes, the benefits I’ve experienced feel like a dream.
I am deeply grateful to the Master! His teachings are truly miraculous and incredible!

I wanted to learn meditation, so I joined the Stress Relief class. After the course, I felt real changes—I was less stressed, happier, and more relaxed!
I’ve been a truck driver for over 20 years, and I always saw myself as unlucky. For more than a year, I struggled to get my Class A license, but the DMV constantly gave me trouble, citing issues with my paperwork or scheduling. Each setback made me angrier, and I became impatient and irritable on the road, honking at other drivers and arguing with people.
On July 5th, I started the Stress Relief class, and even after the first day, I felt lighter and less stressed. My luck with the DMV, however, didn’t change right away. On the third day of class, I had another exam scheduled, only to be told by the DMV that I needed to take a different test. With only two days left to prepare, I returned to the meditation center and sincerely prayed to Bodhisattva Manjusri for guidance.
Despite my tight schedule—driving by day and attending classes at night—I studied whenever I could. Miraculously, I finally passed and received my Class A license! I was overjoyed and shared my success with everyone at the center, who cheered for me from the heart.
I plan to keep learning at Bodhi Meditation. The staff are incredibly kind, and they gave me a Bodhi Meditation Sutra to keep in my truck as a reminder. Now, if I’m feeling stressed or upset, I can connect with Grandmaster JinBodhi for peace and protection.
On the way home after the test, someone accidentally bumped my truck. I got out, saw there was no serious damage, and waved them on. The other driver was so grateful, thanking me repeatedly. Maybe they felt lucky to run into a kind person that day.
I’ve experienced so many positive changes. Now I handle things calmly and hope to continue as a healthy, happy truck driver!

A while ago, I injured my left hand in a fall, causing severe pain in my entire arm. The pain even spread to my legs, making it difficult to stand for more than ten minutes without needing to sit down. Even when I managed to fall asleep, the pain would wake me up. Initially, I felt bad about bothering the Bodhi Meditation Center, so I endured it for nearly a month, but the pain didn’t improve. Eventually, I decided to seek help from *Bodhi Meditation*.
At the center, a teacher channeled Grandmaster JinBodhi’s powerful energy to bless and adjust my condition. Amazingly, my arm pain reduced significantly on the spot! This gave me confidence in a full recovery. Through continued meditation practice, my healing progressed quickly.
In the recent *Stress Relief* class, I was surprised to find that I could stand comfortably while practicing the *Greater Illumination Meditation*. Now, I can complete three rounds—90 minutes straight—without any issues, which makes me incredibly happy.
The difference before and after meditation is remarkable. After my fall, I went to the hospital, and the doctor prescribed pain medication. But the meds made me sleepy, and when I woke up, the pain was worse. I stopped taking them and just endured the pain. In the past, I needed regular shots and medication for rheumatoid arthritis—every two weeks—but it’s been six or seven months now without any injections or pills.
I’m deeply grateful to the teachers and senior practitioners who encouraged me and even drove me to the center for various meditation classes. Through consistent practice, my body has healed rapidly.
